Fall Family Fun {Dallas Family Photographer}

Going back through some from the busy fall season and discovered that I had not blogged this one from some favorite repeat clients, Stacie & Trent and their boys, Drew & Reid. Yikes! I had so much fun watching them have fun. They are big into baseball and played a little catch (and also some football) over at Flagpole Hill. And let me just tell you... I was might impressed with Stacie's skills! I always love seeing you guys!

Here are just a few favorites from their third session with Tracy Allyn Photography. See their previous sessions here and here.

Meeting Baby Ben {Family Photographer - Houston}

Seriously can't say it enough... oh, how I love my repeat/much-loved clients! I met Candice & Matt for a large group family portrait in Sundance Square last April. Back then, I had no idea I would get to see them again so soon... for portraits of their own new little family! So, I was thrilled to get to travel to Houston to see them and meet 6 month old Ben. What a cutie! And doesn't this family just keep getting more gorgeous?

Weekend with Family {Texas Teen Photographer}

I love when I get the chance to head to East Texas to see my family.  Even though I didn't grow up there, it is just so relaxing to visit for a few days.  And it's an even bigger bonus when my brother and his daughters are there.  Campbell and I have so much fun playing with them.  Lots more pictures to come soon with Campbell, Josie, and my brother, but in this post I wanted to share some of my beautiful niece, Ali.  She even manages to look good fishing in a dusty stock pond!  And I enjoyed using a lens that I never use and now wondering why I don't!

Almost a year! {Dallas Baby and Family Photographer}

As a parent we all realize how fast time flies while we are watching our children grow.  We never want to miss a single moment of all the joys, tears, firsts, and silliness.  That's why I love my job so much... sometimes it is hard to even call it a job!  Photographs accompany those beautiful memories and are treasures to cherish.

It's hard to believe that has been almost a year since I met little Kaylee and her mommy, Annamarie.  I loved photographing her newborn pictures and was thrilled when they scheduled a family portrait session this year.   We planned a session in downtown McKinney which is coincidentally Annamarie's and Chase's old stomping grounds.  I love that there is history for them there.  They told me stories of family and friend's little shops as we walked around the square.  Kaylee had such a fantastic time walk/running... still can't believe she is already walking that well!  And what perfect weather we had for it!   It feels good to get out of the studio again!

Enjoy your preview, guys!

All Grown Up and Engaged {Dallas Engagement Photographer}

Time flies by way too fast... I can't believe my niece, Megan, is all grown up and engaged to be married this fall.   I could embarrass her and tell the world how she once peed all over my new bed when I was changing her diaper (oops, think I just did!) but instead I'll just say what a beautiful young lady she has become.  I couldn't be more thrilled for her and Scotty!  He's such a great guy... he even has the Campbell stamp of approval!

We had such a great time doing their engagement pictures.  Megan loves vintage and we definitely wanted to include a feeling of modern vintage with a laid back charm. I love that we were able to use my vintage fainting sofa.  And Scotty in the casual as opposed to her prim dress was so adorable!  We finished up with a little wine picnic at sunset.  Once we lost light we set up the quilt for a campy photo booth style portrait back at the studio.   So fun and cute!

Enjoy your preview guys!  I love you both and can't wait to shoot your wedding in October!
