Recently I spent two sessions in one day in Deep Ellum... it is a great place for a session, whether it is children, baby, family, engagement, or senior portraits!   It just so happened that the two clients I had that Sunday each wanted to try an urban session.  And the coincidences didn't stop there... both families also had two boys and they were both the same ages!  How weird (and cool) is that?!?

So that morning I met up with Stacie and Trent and their two beautiful boys.  What a gorgeous family!  We tried a few in Deep Ellum and then headed over to Flagpole Hill near White Rock Lake for a little nature. 

Later that afternoon I met up with Amy and Wes and their cute boys.  We stayed around Deep Ellum and tried a few locations I haven't shot at, like the Latino Cultural Center... love those orange walls!!!  And the boys loved running around!  Active, active, active... and fun!   Here are a few from Deep Ellum, part deux...

This week I photographed such a gorgeous family... two of the cutest little blonde haired boys, their beautiful mom and handsome dad.  We explored around our own neighborhood... White Rock Lake and Flagpole Hill.  We hit the golden hour just right.  Patrick and Declan are so cute and that light on their little toeheads was perfect.  Could.not.have.asked.for.more!

I have to say... I don't think I have ever left a more rewarding session.  After chasing 3 year old Nate around Flagpole Hill in Dallas, I left feeling MORE energized than when I arrived!  The sweetness that oozes out of this little guy has left me on a 2 day high.  The connection I felt to him overwhelmed me and I think he thoroughly enjoyed it, too!  Thank you, Jennifer for sharing your beautiful son with me on that windy afternoon.  I hope you love your preview!

My son and I recently enjoyed a sunset playdate together at Flagpole Hill in Dallas.  We ran down the hill... okay, okay... HE ran down the hill while I took pictures!  We played on the swings... even if they were too small for him.  We went to the top of the steps to explore the flag.  We generally had a great, if not chilly, afternoon.  I love you, Campbell.
