My How They've Grown {Dallas Child & Family Photographer}

I love it when I get to see how kids grow from session to session and year to year.   My repeat clients are so awesome!   Stacie & Trent and their boys, Drew & Reid, had family portraits taken with me last fall and I was shocked to see how much they have grown in one year... especially Reid!   He was just 2 last year and this little blondie is only 3 now... But I can't get over how big he has gotten!   Of course, Dad is pretty tall, too!  It was a beautiful morning at the Dallas Arboretum to spend with you guys.   Looking forward to continuing the tradition next year... pictures with Tracy Allyn Photography followed by family breakfast... hope you enjoyed the Rootie Tootie Fresh & Fruity, Drew & Reid!

Splash Time {Dallas Family Photographer}

This family definitely has the right attitude... they are all about fun and I love it!  When I spoke with Ashley on the phone that day I could hear Nathan giggling up a storm in the background.   He just sounded so happy!   And when I met them I got to witness his happiness.  Despite falling asleep in the car on the way to their session, Nathan perked right up and was ready to play.   Of course it may have had something to do with the promises from Ashley and Joseph that he would get to splash in the water at the end of the session.   Some parents make promises of candy... but I guess when your mom is a dentist you are easily swayed with a healthy dose of activity!   We had so much fun wading in Turtle Creek, even though the water and air was pretty chilly that day.  Nathan even came up all smiles after falling face first in the water.   And you gotta love a mom and dad that don't mind getting a little wet and dirty!  I love splash time!

Thanks so much for a fun evening, Ashley and Joseph... enjoy your preview!

Zoe & Lauren + 1 {Dallas Child Photographer}

I love repeat clients!   Last November I met Zoe, Lauren and their parents, Shelley and Kevin for a session at the Arboretum.  I can't believe it has already been that long!   When I met them then I knew right away that I adored their personalities... playful, feisty, headstrong, intelligent.  I could go on and on but I'm just in awe of young ladies who know who they are and aren't afraid to show it!

This year the girls were joined by a plus 1... a cute little curly haired cousin, named Asher.   We met for an urban session... we ventured out for ice cream for breakfast (what's not to love?) at a location I love.   I just wish it hadn't been so bright there!  When Asher needed to head home for his morning nap, we said goodbye and headed off to explore the Dallas Design District for my favorite... bold walls and texture!

Even though Kevin couldn't join us this time I snapped a few pictures of the beautiful Shelley... just for him!

Enjoy (just a few!) pics from the morning... there were MANY!

Tina's Boys {Austin & Dallas Child Photographer}

Last weekend I had the chance to meet the boys of an old friend of mine.   Tina and I were roomates back when my husband and I first started dating.   I can't believe it has been so long since we have seen each other.   And I couldn't believe how cute her boys, Justin, Mason and Brady, were!

Enjoy your preview Tina and Steve... I'm so glad I got to see you guys!

Little Miss Energy and Her Baby Brother {Dallas Child Photographer}

Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Kristin and her two adorable kiddos, Remy and Luke.   And I have to say... it was like meeting the female version of my own bundle of energy at three years old!  Seriously... she was so happy and full of life!   And baby Luke was too cute for words!

Thanks so much for a fun morning at the Arboretum, Kristin.   I hope you enjoy your preview!
